Whereon Katy Catches You Up On Recent Happenings :)

10:05 PM

Wow! It has been a very long time since I have posted on this blog. I am checking in to let you know that I am, in fact, still very much alive!

Life has been really crazy lately. That mixed with us not having reliable Internet currently at our apartment has definitely not been all that great for consistent blogging!

This post is hopefully the start to the end of inconsistency and hopefully the beginning of some more posts ;)

So what has been happening in the meantime?

Life is so full right now but first to catch you up on the family :)

Elijah is growing like a weed. He is walking/running and constantly on the go! He has such a sweet spirit...most of the time-he definitely has a stubborn streak at times (which I am pretty sure he inherited from both Jason and I lol)!

Jason is doing OK overall. We have been struggling with some health issues with him for almost a year now and it seems we are starting to find answers. We know he is gluten and dairy intolerant which makes cooking a whole new creative challenge! He has been so patient though in this process. He is such a good man!

This week he is doing what he loves most: balloon making and juggling at our local fair! He has so much fun with it!! :)

I am doing well :) I am 22 weeks pregnant and am getting more tired as time goes on (although I think a little bit of that has to do with chasing my 15 month old around)!

My sweet sister-in-law threw a gender reveal party for us and it was SO MUCH FUN! She was the only one that knew what the baby was. We had dropped off the envelope sealed at her house right after the ultrasound so that we were not tempted to peek!

We got a video so these really were our reactions :)

I was team girl and Jason was team boy:

IT'S A BOY! Micah Daniel :)
We are so excited to have a little buddy for Elijah!

They snapped a few pictures as well which were fun too :)

I love Jason's reaction in this one! Elijah thought the balloon was just for him!!

Did I mention how excited we are for this little guy to join our family? ;)

There are so many things that I have to catch you all up on but I figured that this would be a good start ;) What has been happening in your life lately? I would love to hear about it!

By the way, it's obvious your life is crazy: Why is there a girl's bike hanging from the ceiling?!? lol! It looks like it's a weeny bit too small for you, Katy ;)
